What led you to your current career at McDonald’s?

A friend of my mother knew Kerri and set me up with an interview for me when I was 15.

What is your current position and responsibility?

General Manager. Effectively leading the store in day to day operations.

Why do you work at McDonald’s?

I enjoy the fast pace of the job. There is always opportunity for growth and learning new knowledge. I feel my team cares for one another and treats each other respectfully.

What is it like working for the Walla Organization?

The Walla Organization is empathetic towards the day to day struggles our employees may deal with. We take the time to be there for our employees. I feel lucky to be a part of an organization that can treat our employees like a part of a family and express our appreciation.

What is your go-to meal at McDonald’s?

My favorite menu item was smores pie. Right now I enjoy the bacon egg and cheese McGriddle or a plain hamburger.

How does your career at McDonald’s support your life outside of work?

My career provides me a flexible schedule, vacation time to recharge, and even helps me cover insurance costs. I have also grown into a better people person due to all the skills and practices I get from my day to day functions at the store.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I am a huge reader. I also enjoy video games and spending time with friends.
